TRASH'd, our performance group, and members of our teaching team, Katie and Knowli, driven by chairman John Spiteri, camped at Castle Fraser ready for a busy day of performances and workshops. With our recycled instruments we fit well with the environmental theme of the day. The response to our contribution was terrific with a number of enquiries from schools and events up that way. How about this quote from their press release - "internationally acclaimed interactive music group ‘Trash Music'"

Alan Govan and Katie Forbes spent a day at Ettrick Bridge village hall in the  Borders, working with a group of young people from the village.  The day culminated in a performance for their parents.  We also received an improptu visit from two local MPs, Michael Moore and Euan Robson. They had come to the hall to hold a surgery for their constituents, but ended up being press ganged into joining the group for some drumming.
