A scan of the original document from 1994 setting out draft ideas for what became TRASH. As you can see the original game plan included "real" instruments, technology and dance.

In 1999 we were asked to put on a performance at the enabling stage of the Baltic Contemporary Arts Centre. having stripped the building to the bare bones they got Anish Kapoor to create a giant installation - called "Taratantara" - to fill the huge space of the building. We had a great struggle to get something together as everyone was off doing other things - and of course we decided to stick in all the new ideas everyone came up with to make the most complex performance ever. Interesting but a great experience
