Meadows Festival 2010

Finlay, Katie and Haley worked with James Gillespie Primary school towards a performance on the Main Stage of the Meadows

Festival Edinburgh on the 5th June. This was followed up by a couple of hours of come-all-ye workshops in blazing hot weather.

Great festival and the kids really did well having had just one day  to practice. Good to have Fin, Katie and Haley back working together

In May we did another of our large scale events for the guides - this being their 100th anniversary

there has been a lot of big events all over the UK -we have had more requests than we can deal with.

During the day we worked with 4 groups and a leaders group - in total about 140 taking part.

As always with these big events it was loads of fun and the weather was good.

The TRASH hosted Zambian musicians project held at Beanscene, Hawick, on the 12th of April.

On this clip  Brian Shakarongo and the Zambian Fusion musicians are playing with Ken (sax),

Haley (guitar) and Fin (guitar) from TRASH, a mystery drummer and Shona (fiddle) and an unknown fiddle player.

Various local kids are also contributing. Brian and Ken are old friends and this is Brian's third trip to the Borders.
